Now that we have explored a heck of a lot of steps for you to find the perfect and safe neighborhood – the last thing that you need to do is explore the neighborhood.  That is really one of the only ways that you are going to truly know if you are going to fit into the neighborhood and if you are going to like it.  Those are important too – fitting in and liking it because really … who would want to fit into their neighborhood.

When you are touring, do not go alone.  Always make sure that the person that you are going to live with goes with you and maybe even your real estate agent – for they will be able to point things out to you.  You also want to make sure that you look for certain things.

For example, children walking with their parents or playing is always a really good sign, for it means that the neighborhood is really safe.
