Landlord Repairs: 2
Now that we have talked a little bit about the paper trail, let’s go ahead and talk about exactly how you should call in a repair to your landlord. When you are calling in a repair, you need to think about the actual time and importance of the repair that is needed.
For example, if you have no hot water, that is going to be a very, very important repairs that needs to be fixed as soon as possible. If it is just something that needs to be replaced, such as a smoke detector or something like that, it is a little less urgent and can be fixed at leisure – within reason.
In the next blog, we will talk about time frame and just how long you should wait before really getting on your landlord’s nerves.
