Whenever you settle yourself into your new location, you always want to make sure that you are getting your dogs and cats – especially if they go outside micro-chipped. The reason for this is because you always want to make sure that your pet will be able to get back to you.
If you do not believe in micro-chips though, you want to make sure that you are dog-tagging your dog with a collar at the very least, that way you can make sure that you are getting some form of a ID on your pet in case they get lost.
If your pets are not trained all that well, they can run away and if you are moving to a new town, it is important that your animals do not run away.
