Even though moving with your pets and moving to a new town in general is something that is very, very stressful, however I can tell you for sure you want to make sure that you keep up the routine that you set forth in the town that you are moving from.  This is especially true when you are moving with your pet.

If you generally walk your pet in the morning, you want to make sure that you keep that up, that way it slowly but surely becomes normal again for your pet.  You want them to be as comfortable as possible, as this is definitely stressful for them as well.
